Be a Labor Leader: Become an ALC Delegate!Interested in becoming a Labor Council Delegate? Ask your union about how to get involved. Your union has recently received our Annual Report, which includes an updated roster of Delegates and information about how Delegates serve. To complete the process, your union needs to send a formal appointment letter, and you need to attend a Credentials Committee meeting. Delegates & volunteers make Labor Council programs possible. By attending monthly meetings and reporting on events from your union, and taking the reports of other unions back to your members, you make a strong connection in our labor movement. In addition, Delegates serve on action-oriented committees:
You can view and print "What does a delegate do?" (below) for more information, or check the calendar for our next meeting. Additional Resources |
